Overview
Cásper is a magazine created and maintained by Cásper Líbero University. It is distributed exclusively within the academic community and is a part of the journalism program. The magazine provides students with valuable opportunities to gain experience in the field before entering the job market.
Since the magazine only had a printed version circulating internally and among other universities, the editor decided to create a digital version, adapting the content from the print edition for desktop and mobile screens and making the magazine available to the general public.

From print to digital
This project started with a clear objective: adapt the editorial design from the printed magazine to the digital environment. For weeks, I studied how the graphic project was organized to plan and design my approach to the digital version. The idea was to create a visually compelling digital magazine without sacrificing the editorial project.
For this project, I acted not only as a designer but also as a business analyst and backend developer, that’s because the website was running on WordPress, and I ended up coding the template in PHP, and all the custom plugins and post types needed to bring the project to life.
Side menu designed to browse articles of the current magazine edition.
The digital magazine was organized into three sections. The first section featured articles exclusive to the web publication. The second section included a complete adaptation of the printed magazine. For this section, I designed a dedicated article page that corresponded to the current edition, allowing users to browse the entire magazine in the same order as the printed version. I also created a side menu to enable users to navigate between articles and various editions of Cásper without leaving the page. The third section served as a news space where students could share their thoughts on current events around the world.
The result was a modern and beautiful project that, after 10 years (I designed this website in 2015), still feels fresh and bold.
